Driessen designs and develops its Galley Equipment product portfolio in accordance with the so-called Multi Generation Product Plan. This means that each product line evolves into different generations. The Galley Equipment engineering department pays attention to each generation to ensure sustainable development of the portfolio in the long term.
Product improvements are made on a daily basis. Galley Equipment engineering together with sales, production and business development departments are also continuously developing design concepts that can be implemented in future product generations.
During the design process, Driessen takes into account the needs and requirements of all main stakeholders (passengers, cabin crews, airlines, airframe manufacturers, aviation authorities, etc.). Through our 70+ years of design and manufacturing experience and supported by extensive testing (e.g. user-, durability- and certification testing), this is translated to products that are:
• functional (customer oriented, easy to use),
• lightweight,
• durable,
• reliable,
• ergonomic,
• customisable
• easily maintainable, and
• certified to the latest airworthiness standards.
The Driessen Design Vision is executed by the Galley Equipment engineering department, which is located in Wieringerwerf, the Netherlands and Lamphun, Thailand and includes a workshop for prototyping, product development and testing.
Driessen Galley Equipment is an approved EASA DOA design organisation.
