• In-house testing
• On-going research
• Prototyping
Our research and development activities are concentrated at our facilities in Garden Grove, California and in Wieringerwerf, The Netherlands. Production takes place in the manufacturing facilities in Garden Grove, California and in Pilsen, the Czech Republic.
All our facilities are approved by the local airworthiness authorities (FAA and EASA) to perform in-house testing for structural substantiation. We also offer services in areas such as flammability, heat release, smoke density and toxicity testing.
Driessen conducts ongoing research on fabricating and manufacturing techniques of composites and plastics. We test any new material for our sandwich panels for conformance to the latest heat release and toxic smoke emission requirements, as well as superior structural properties.
An experimental shop is involved in galley prototyping and new product development. Other areas are dedicated to the structural and the properties testing of phenolics, graphites, epoxies and other substrates.
